KNOXVILLE, Tenn .(WVLT) -- According to court documents, a woman was arrested on charges related to a 2016 human trafficking incident.

The victim told police she would turn "20 tricks a day" at hotels on Merchants Drive, including a hotel that was within 1000 feet of a daycare that operates inside a church. She said Shearer took all the money she made, according to records.

Shearer allegedly made threats to harm the victim and locked her in a room from which she was not allowed to leave.
