KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - After the heat wave, many are hoping for rain. It is hit or miss at times, so not everyone is getting rain but it's something to know if you're making plans.
After a cold front moved in late this past week, we hit reset on the temperatures and broke the predominately dry streak.
The humidity levels will stay fairly mild on Saturday. This helps with your comfort, of course, but it also helps to keep rain chances limited. We'll have scattered clouds drifting through Saturday afternoon, and with our beautiful elevation changes, we could see a stray pop-up shower or storm, only about a 10% coverage of our area in the afternoon to evening.
Temperatures are getting back to the mid to upper 80s this weekend in the afternoons.
Sunday looks to be a little more humid, which will help to create isolated rain early, and then a few showers and storms in the afternoon.
Check out the latest on your full forecast to see when and where we could get these developing showers and storms!
