Dollywood Chicken and Waffle Friday, May 12, 2017 CW20


1 waffle (use your favorite recipe)
1 chicken breast
3 eggs
½ cup flour
½ cup crushed corn flake cereal
salt to taste
Oil for frying
Maple syrup


Beat eggs. Mix flour and cereal. Dip chicken breast in the egg and then into the dry mixture to coat completely. Heat oil and fry the chicken until it is crisp and brown on the outside and done in the center. Place chicken on the waffle and pour maple syrup generously over.
This is a recipe for a single serving. It easily expands to as many as you need.
