Apple Filling 3oz
Cinnamon Sugar 1tbsp
Cold Butter 1LB
Bread Flour 1LB
Cake Flour 1LB
Sugar 1/8 Cup
Cold Water 1 Cup
DirectionsPlace butter, flour, salt and sugar into the mixing bowl.
Mix until the butter has broken up (3-4 minutes).
Remove bowl from mixer and fold in water by hand gradually until dough comes together and tightens.
Place in refrigerator, wrapped tightly, for at least an hour.
Use your favorite canned apple pie filling with these pies.
Roll dough out to about 6 inches in diameter. Try to be as even as possible. See the dough recipe below.
Place apple filling into center of dough. Fold dough over evenly.
Dab outside edge with water and crimp tight with a fork.
In a heavy pan, heat a couple of TBSP oil to 350 Degrees. Drop apple pie into oil. Allow to cook 3-4 minutes per side.
Once cooked thoroughly, remove from oil.
Serve after tossing in cinnamon sugar.
