1/2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
4 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 medium plum tomato, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup cored chopped apple, peeled or unpeeled
1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/2 avocado, peeled, pitted and chopped
Italian or vinaigrette dressing
DirectionsIn a medium bowl, toss together the salad ingredients. Toss with an Italian or vinaigrette dressing.
This salad is also very good with the addition of 2 or 3 bacon slices fried crisp and crumbled.
