Easy Corn Meal Waffles Friday, June 2, 2017 CW20


2 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 cups all purpose flour
¼ cup cornmeal (not cornbread mix)
1 TBSP baking powder
1 TBSP sugar
pinch of salt


Preheat waffle Maker. Place dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix all wet ingredients and whisk into dry until completely mixed. No need to mix too much. Pour about ¾ cup of batter over preheated waffle maker and close lid. Bake about 3 to 5 minutes or until steam no longer comes out. Repeat until all batter is used. Serve with your favorite topping. I strongly recommend the rhubarb raspberry breakfast sauce we made a couple of weeks ago.
