Bringing It To The Table: Simple Avocado Ceviche




Ingredients

8 oz. cooked and diced white fish (halibut or tilapia)
1 jalapeno, diced, with ribs and seeds removed
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. finely diced red onions
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Pinch of salt
1 diced avocado

Directions

In a bowl, place 8 oz. of cooked and diced white fish (halibut or tilapia will do)
Add the diced jalapeno, with ribs and seeds removed
Pour the fresh lime juice into the bowl
Add the red onions and chopped cilantro into the bowl
Add a pinch of salt to the bowl
Combine all ingredients and cover with plastic wrap
Place the bowl in the refrigerator for 2 hours
When ready to serve, add the diced avocado

Serve alone with chips or as a filling
