Chocolate Chess Pie


1 cup sugar
¼ cup cocoa
6 TBSP butter, melted and cooled
2 TBSP flour
2 TBSP cornmeal
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 9 inch unbaked frozen pie shell


Mix together sugar, cocoa, flour and cornmeal. Beat in the eggs and butter. Slowly stir in the milk until fully blended. Stir in the vanilla. Pour the mixture into the unbaked 9” pie shell. Place in a 350 deg oven about 40 minutes. The center of the pie will be rounded up and appear dry. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before serving.
