Skillet Apple Crisp

3 apples
1 tbsp lemon juice
9 tbsps apple juice
4 tbsps sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
1 ½ cups Nature Valley™ granola
½ cup rolled oats
5 tbsps softened butter

Preheat oven to 350 deg. Core and slice each apple into thin slices. In a large bowl, combine the apples, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. Toss to coat the apples. In another bowl, combine the granola, oats and softened butter. Using your fingers or a wooden spoon, mix everything together. Place the apples in a 10-inch cast iron skillet. Top with granola mixture. Bake for 30-40 minutes in the oven, or until the top is browned and the apples are soft. Serve warm with a dollop of vanilla ice cream.
Some recipes for this crisp would reduce the apple juice to 5 TBSP and replace that with 4 TBSP bourbon. You also may use a dollop of vanilla yogurt instead of ice cream. That is a personal choice.
