We need to give some love to Tennessee Soccer.
The Lady Vols defeated Missouri, 2-1, on UT's Senior Night Thursday. Senior forward Bunny Shaw's shot from ten yards out in overtime made the difference.
After trailing 1-0 at the half, junior Katie Cousins booted in a penalty kick at the 71' mark.
The Lady Vols are now the No. 2 seed in the upcoming SEC Tournament. It's their highest finish in the conference since they were No. 1 in 2005. Hooray!

Tennessee (13-2-2) has won three straight matches under the leadership of seventh-year head coach Brian Pensky.
The United Soccer Coaches Poll had Tennessee ranked No. 12 in the nation heading into Thursday's match. That's certainly bound to go up in the coming weeks, depending on how far the Lady Vols can ride this momentum.
Next up: Tennessee will play the winner of the No. 10 vs. No. 7 seed match, which takes place on Sunday, Oct. 28 in Orange Beach, Ala. (As of the conference standings Thursday night, that would be Missouri vs. LSU).
The Lady Vols will kick off vs. the yet-to-be-determined winner of that match on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m. ET. You can watch all the tournament games on the SEC Network.
Impress your friends: Tennessee hasn't lost a road game this season. At all.
Impress your friends, again: Tennessee last won the SEC tournament in 2008.
