Bowl game? First things first ― Tennessee players focused on Charlotte

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee football needs to win three of its last four games for bowl eligibility.

The remaining opponents are UNC-Charlotte, Missouri, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt.

Ask the players, though ― and they'll tell you it starts with winning the next one, and that's what they're focused on.

"We play every year to try to make it to a bowl. First we try to make it to the SEC Championship. The next best thing is to try to make it to a bowl. Right now, we've got to focus on this game coming up this week," said wide receiver Marquez Callaway.

"It's really important that we get back to a bowl, but I feel like we've got to take it one game at a time," explained defensive back, Baylen Buchanan.

Kickoff between Tennessee and Charlotte is set for 4 p.m. at Neyland Stadium this Saturday.
