Former Tennessee head football coach Butch Jones is reportedly heading to Maryland to join Mike Locksley's coaching staff.

The news was reported late Monday night by Jeff Ermann of "Inside Maryland Sports" on Twitter. You can see that tweet on this page.

Locksley was recently named the new head coach at Maryland, but was previously the offensive coordinator at Alabama.

Butch Jones spent the last year as an offensive analyst at Alabama.

According to Ermann's report, Jones is expected to primarily coach tight ends and serve as an associate head coach under Locksley.
