KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition (TBCC) and Post Leasing & Sales are delighted to invite participants to take part in the inaugural Celebration of Life Golf Classic in Knoxville at the Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country, 9317 Linksvue Dr, Knoxville. The tournament will take place on Monday, May 6th with a shotgun start of 8 AM. The tournament will be a 4-person scramble format. TBCC is a grassroots organization, founded in 1995, dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
Every August TBCC hold the largest one-day charity golf event in Tennessee at the Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville. TBCC along with Post Leasing & Sales is bringing the experience to Knoxville.
At the Celebration of Life Golf Classic in Knoxville, participants will enjoy breakfast and lunch in addition to several on course contests. At the tournament beverages will be provided, there will be a silent auction, prizes for the winning teams, and each guest will receive a player gift. The cost for an individual player is $175 and $700 for a team.
There are many ways to be a part of this event: become a hole sponsor, organize a team with your company or friends, donate an item for the auction, volunteer, or contribute to our pink ribbon flower fund.
The Celebration of Life Golf Classic in Knoxville is a fundraising event to honor and commemorate the many lives affected by breast cancer while increasing awareness and raising funds to support TBCC. All of the money raised through the tournament will stay right here in Tennessee. The primary program this event supports is the Emergency Access Fund (EAF). The EAF pays necessities such as rent, mortgage payments, utilities and insurance premiums of individuals who have become financially burdened due to the inability to work while in treatment.
