GRAPEVINE, Tx. (WVLT) -- With the top three teams virtually set after Saturday's conference championships, the big question Sunday was who would round off the college football playoff teams.

After much debate, Oklahoma took the fourth and final playoff spot, ranking higher than Georgia and Ohio State

Alabama took the number one spot after defeating Georgia in the SEC Championship Sunday night. Alabama has been in the playoff since the inception five years ago.

Alabama and Oklahoma will play each other in the Orange Bowl December 29.

Clemson took the number two spot after winning the ACC Championship Saturday night.

Notre Dame took number three after putting together an undefeated season at 12-0. The Fighting Irish do not play in a conference championship.

Clemson and Notre Dame will play each other in the Cotton Bowl on December 29.

The College Football Playoff National Championship will be January 7 in Santa Clara, Calif.
