East TN standouts sign to play Division I golf, SEC baseball, and more

Below is a list of East Tennessee high school athletes who've signed their national letters of intent (NLIs) to play collegiate sports.

This morning, Bearden High School's Drew Pember signed to play basketball at Tennessee.

Bearden also celebrated golfer Bryson Morrell, who will play for UT-Martin; Jersey Patterson, who will play softball for Chattanooga State; Shakara Goodloe, who will play softball at Chipola College; and Allison Barclay, who will swim at Assumption College.

Central High School's Alyssa Montgomery was set to sign her letter of intent to play golf at Virginia Tech.

CAK baseball had three Division I signees: Zane Keener will play outfield at Tennessee; pitcher Hunter Loyd signed with ETSU; and Jacob Tate will pitch for the University of Kentucky.

CAK's Cade Russell will play golf at Tennessee.

Hardin Valley soccer celebrated four girls playing at the next level: Karris Anastasio will play at Trevecca University; Kaitlynne Eggleston will play at King College; Aaliyah Parris will play at Tusculum University; and Mackenzie Smith will play at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.

HVA's Kensi Gray will run track and cross country for the University of South Carolina.

HVA baseball's Cameron Fisher will play for Ole Miss.

HVA volleyball's Courtney Coffy will play the University of South Carolina Upstate. Kimberly Morgan Smithson will play at Maryville College.

HVA swimming's Emily Aycock will swim for Oakland University. Kenzie Welch will swim for Emory & Henry College.

Regan Weekly of The King's Academy will play softball at Dartmouth.

TKA's Maddie Webber will play softball for Tennessee.

Haydyn Jenkins and Katelyn Norris of TKA will play softball at Charleston Southern.
