LEXINGTON, Ky. (WVLT) -- Former Tennessee basketball player Chris Lofton went back to the hardwood this weekend, looking to help his team win $2 million.
"The Basketball Tournament", in its sixth season, features talented basketball players from across the country, many of which played in college or at the professional level.
Lofton's team, "Team KBC" won its first round game, but fell in the second round, despite 32 points from the former UT star.
A couple former Lincoln Memorial University basketball players also played in "The Tournament".
Luquon Choice and Gerel Simmons helped lead LMU to the national championship game in 2016. Now they got to try their hands at $2 million.
Like Lofton's team, the "D2" team fell short in the second round. Choice's and Simmons' team lost by two points in round two of the tournament.
