Former Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray has been activated off the practice squad for the Chicago Bears and will back-up Chase Daniel for the team's Thanksgiving match-up with the Lions.
With Bears' starter, Mitchell Trubisky, out with a shoulder injury, Chicago coach Matt Nagi turns to Bray as his second team quarterback in Detroit.
Since entering the league in 2013, Bray has played for both the Bears and the Kansas City Chiefs. He has appeared in just one regular season game.
While at Tennessee from 2010-12, Bray finished his college career with 69 touchdowns, including a 34 touchdown pass season in 2012.
