As for this week's game against in-state rival Vanderbilt, the coach added, "this game means a whole lot to a whole lot of people. Since the Georgia loss we've been playing for pride and pride is about as important as it gets."
Coach Pruitt was also asked about the importance of getting his team to a Bowl game in his first year especially from the standpoint of recruiting and he responded, "I think getting to a Bowl game is important for our players, especially our Seniors. It's another chance to raise our level of play. It's a great opportunity for us to possibly have a winning record. Any time you have positive things going on it's gonna help you in recruiting.
