KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- We found out last week that Tennessee offensive lineman Trey Smith would likely miss the rest of the 2018 football season, as he was diagnosed with blood clots.

Smith dealt with a similar situation months ago, which caused him to miss the spring and part of fall camp.

His teammates are supporting him through the situation.

Defensive lineman Paul Bain said the first thing he did when he heard the news, was pray.
