Ice Bears collect dozens of stuffed animals, fall 3-2 to Roanoke

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Ice Bears collected dozens of teddy bears on Friday night to benefit youth organizations, in the team's "teddy bear toss".

Fans tossed teddy bears onto the ice when the Ice Bears scored their first goal.

The Ice Bears fell to Roanoke 3-2.

They are back on the ice Saturday for a game against the Quad City Storm.

The puck drops at 7:35 p.m.

The wiener dog races will also be held at Saturday's game.
