Jennings injures knee, should be ready for Fall camp

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- It may be a big basketball night, but there's some UT Football news to pass along. Our Volquest.com partners have confirmed that senior receiver Jauan Jennings is recovering from knee surgery, but should be ready to go by Fall camp in August.

Jauan reportedly injured the knee during a summer workout. Jennings, who's battled knee injuries for the last couple years, appeared in all 12 games last season.

In 2017, Jennings appeared in only one game and received a medical red shirts. Jennings sophomore season was his best to date. In 2016 he etched himself in Tennessee lore with a 67 yard touchdown catch versus Florida and a 43-yard game-winning Hail Mary against Georgia.
