KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- After a week averaging more than 21 points, the Southeastern Conference named Lady Vols sophomore point guard Evina Westbrook SEC Player of the Week.
Westbrook helped lead Tennessee to two victories, including a home win over Stetson and a road victory against Texas, a team ranked No. 12 in the country at the time.
The 8-0 Tennessee Lady Vols are ranked No. 9 in the country.
Against Stetson, Westbrook helped to anchor the Tennessee 20-point comeback in the second half. Against Texas, Westbrook posted her third 20-point plus game this season, dropping 23 points and six assists. It's the first time Tennessee has won in Austin since 2012.
