Margin of error is small for Vols offense this week; turnover margin will be important

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee is set to play Auburn, the No. 21 team in the country, this Saturday.

The Tigers are coming off a tough loss to Mississippi State, in which they gave up nearly 350 rushing yards, lost the turnover margin, and did not score a touchdown.

Auburn, though, still has one of the best defenses in the country, specifically when it comes to forcing turnovers.

The Tigers have held opponents to an average of 14 points/game this season.

Furthermore, in the games Auburn has won the turnover margin, the Tigers have also won the game. In the games Auburn has lost the turnover margin, the Tigers have also lost the game.

Taking care of the football will be very important this Saturday.

"Tennessee can't beat Tennessee," said Vols offensive lineman Drew Richmond.
