Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The State's top ranked team in Class-6A, the Maryville Red Rebels, will more than likely enter Friday's night's semifinal playoff game minus standout running back Tee Hodge. The 6'2", 205 pound Junior and UT Football prospect has suffered a small fracture in his tibia.

The injury was confirmed for WVLT Sports by second year Maryville head coach Derek Hunt who told us, " Our kids are resilient, they will play hard no matter the circumstances. It was going to be a very tough game either way, but that’s what the semifinals is supposed to be like!"

Friday's game is a rematch of an early season match up between the two schools, a game won by Maryville over in Blount County. The winner will play for a Gold Ball in the Class-6A title one week from Thanksgiving Day over in Cookeville.
