CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- More than 700 young football players attended the "Night of Champions" at Second Baptist Church in Clinton on Wednesday.

The goal of the night is to show young football players how the game they love is closely tied to faith.

Speakers at Wednesday's event included Tennessee Defensive Coordinator Chris Rumph, former Auburn Quarterback Patrick Nix, and Fulton High School Athletic Director Jody Wright.

The players who attended ranged in age from youth league to high school.
