Grant Williams had 14 points and nine rebounds to complement two blocks.
Jordan Bowden, who came off the bench for the second straight game in lieu of Yves Pons, scored 14 points.
Pons and Kyle Alexander combined for eight of the team's 13 turnovers.
The Vols improved to 6-1 on the season and are a perfect 5-0 at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Next up, Tennessee will travel to Phoenix to play No. 1 Gonzaga next Sunday, Dec. 9. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. ET.
