Olympian, PGA golfer among inductees to Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Athletes, coaches and an official are among the nine people inducted into the 2019 class of the Greater Knoxville Sports Hall of Fame.

The class includes Olympic gold medalist Davis Tarwater (swimming), NFL official Terry Brown, PGA Tour golfer Walt Chapman, NCAA champion Randy Jenkins (track & field), football coach Dr. Chris Jones, Kamisha Martin (track & field), Webb football coach and athletics director David Meske, contributor George Sampson and basketball coach Jody Wright.

David Cutcliffe, Duke University Head Football Coach and former University of Tennessee Offensive Coordinator, will be the guest speaker at the induction ceremony July 25, 2019.
