KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Sheriff is back in town.

Tennessee legend and NFL quarterback Peyton Manning is partnering with Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners to open what it describes as a "western-inspired, high-end watering hole."

The bar and restaurant, named Saloon 16, will be attached to the new Graduate Knoxville hotel, which will replace the Hilton Garden Inn after the building is renovated. The new hotel is set to open in spring of 2020.

“Since the inception of Graduate Hotels, it has been a goal of ours to bring a property to Knoxville,” said Ben Weprin, Founder and CEO of AJ Capital Partners in a news release. “While each Graduate hotel is distinct and personal, this project hits especially close to home.”
