KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- It was another good weekend for Robby Shelton, as he opened and closed the final round of the Knoxville Open in the lead.

The win is Shelton's second of the season, putting him just one win shy of "instant promotion" to the PGA Tour.

Shelton shot even on the day, but thanks to a combined -15 score after Saturday's round (and a two-stroke lead) Sunday's 71 was just enough.

He beat second-place finisher, Mark Anderson, by one swing.

One more win this season would make Shelton just the twelfth player to ever receive instant 3-win promotion to the PGA Tour.
