The players ages range from the early sixties to mid-eightes but that doesn't slow down the Smoky Mountain Mamas.
The women practice twice a week and will travel across the country in June to compete in the National Senior Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Shirley Milsaps says the league is competitive and a lot of fun, "We practice year-round, twice a week and we don't come to lose."
Marie Ledgerwood is 81 years old and still has a passion for basketball, she recently won a gold medal in the 80+ division at the National Senior Games.
