SEYMOUR, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Monday is the first day that high school football teams across Tennessee can practice in pads.
The King's Academy strapped it up as early as they possibly could. Pads started popping right at midnight.
"It's football season. There's nothing like hearing the sound of two kids colliding and pads popping," said TKA Coach Jon Sellers.
Sellers took over the program halfway through last fall. This will be his first full season as the team's head coach.
