Team building key for Lady Vols on European trip

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- New head coach Kellie Harper and Lady Vols leave for a three game European tour on Monday. Players and coach alike believe it's a great chance to work on something this team desperately desires, chemistry. Coach Harper says, "well that's an important part of what we are doing and that is going over there to build team chemistry and its a great opportunity for these young ladies and then also a chance to get fired up about the future."
Junior Rennia Davis adds, "we're gonna be in a new environment for about three weeks and we'll be forced to lean on each other and use each other as resources."

Coach Harper has been busy every way imaginable, everything from finding day care for the kids, to coaching up her new team, even to golf cart karaoke? Yes, not sure if you've seen some of these video's but coach Kellie has done one with her staff and most recently with fellow 1998 national champion, Tee Martin and she loves it, " so in the 90's when we were here I think the music rocked and they wanted to be sure we were doing some promotional things that would appeal to the younger audience. I had more fun than they thought I would. I had an absolute blast doing that!

Not sure if she'll be doing any karaoke on her first trip to Europe,
but she will be watching plenty of basketball as the Lady Vols play games in the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
