KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- As Sports fans, when it comes to following our favorite teams, we sometimes hang on to every word being broadcast on the radio.

Well, there aren’t many who do it better than the Tennessee trio of Bob Kesling , Tim Priest and Bert Bertlekamp. Bob of course is the Voice of the Vols while Tim offers analysis for football and Beet for UT basketball.

On Wednesday, the three men were honored by the Vol network for 20 years of service behind the mic. All three will be the first to tell you, it’s a labor of love!

Regarding their accomplishment, Vol network GM Steve Early told UT’s flagship station WVLT,” we are fortunate to have a radio broadcasting team that delivers excitement and passion to Vol fans throughout the world.  Our announcers have been in place for 20 successive seasons, and that tells you about their commitment to Tennessee.  Bob Kesling’s professionalism and versatility are unmatched.  Tim Priest’s football commentary and Bert Bertelkamp’s on-air excitement are second-to-none.  We take great pride in celebrating their 20th anniversary and are delighted they play an integral role in the Vol Network’s 70-year history.”

Congratulations to this terrific trio on a job well done and to many more years bringing the thrill of UT football and basketball to Vol fans everywhere!
