Tennessee showing interest in former Lady Vol Kellie Jolly Harper

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Kellie Harper is the head women's basketball coach at Missouri State University, but she played basketball at Tennessee in the 1990s, where she won three national championships under Head Coach Pat Summitt.

Missouri State Athletic Director Kyle Moats announced publicly on Monday that Tennessee has reached out to him about Harper.

“The University of Tennessee has contacted me to inform me they have an interest in speaking with Coach Harper about their Women’s Head Coaching position”.

The former Kellie Jolly has been the head coach at Missouri State for six years, and led the Bears to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen this season.
