While in the Music City Pruitt was asked about his biggest take-away
from his first year on Rocky Top. He responded by saying, " We went
5-7 that's the most important take-away, that's what's your measured on is wins and losses and that's not where I want to be I think we have a good vision of where we're headed and I think our coaches have done a really nice job of of selling that vision to the recruits and I'm kind of excited to get back next week and start our off season with our guys and Spring ball which is just around the corner."

Coach Jeremy Pruitt also told fans in Nashville that offensive lineman Chance Hall will retire from football and go on medical exemption scholarship.

Spring practice for Tennessee begins March 7th with the Orange and White game set for April 13th.
