UT Volleyball caps off memorable home season with a win

Knoxville, Tenn. (WVLT)-- No. 22 University of Tennessee defeated the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday afternoon in four sets to close out the regular season in Thompson-Boling Arena.

With the win, the Lady Vols captured their 25th win of the season and finished second in the conference standings. Tennessee await the NCAA Selection show on Sunday to determine where they will head in the postseason. The Lady Vols would make their 15th overall NCAA Tournament appearance with the last appearance being in 2012.

Tennessee (25-5, 16-2 Southeastern Conference) were led on Senior Day by senior Erica Treiber and junior Tessa Grubbs who both tallied double-digit kills combining for 36 of Tennessee's 57 kills. In her final match in Thompson-Boling Arena, Treiber career night finishing with 16 kills and 11 blocks for her first career double-double.

The Lady Vols will await their selection to the NCAA Tournament. The selection show will air Sunday night. It would be the first time since 2012 Tennessee will be selected to the NCAA Tournament.

The selection show will air on ESPNU with the broadcast scheduled for 8:30 p.m. (ET).
