KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Vol fans will never forget what happened on October 1, 2016.

We spoke to 20-year-old Cody Conrad, the fan behind the now viral photo. The Greenback native said he was invited to the game by one of his friends who is a Georgia fan.

"He asked me and a couple of my other Vol friends if we would go with him." , said Conrad. "So I said yeah but I'm going to wear my Tennessee stuff, and I said you know what I'm actually going to wear my Jauan jersey just to remind all of the Georgia fans."

Conrad said that once he was put on the jumbo tron at Samford Stadium, that's when the Georgia fans began to boo.

"Right before halftime me and my other two Vol friends went to the concessions and as we were walking up the stairs the entire section started booing us and throwing stuff at us and everything." Said Conrad. "It was fun, it was awesome."

Jauan Jennings caught a last-second Hail Mary pass from Josh Dobbs to beat Georgia in Athens when both teams were ranked in the top-25.

One Tennessee fan wants to make sure Georgia fans never forget about that moment.

Cody Conrad went to Georgia's spring game this weekend wearing a Jauan Jennings Tennessee jersey.

It's worth noting, spring games typically only draw fans of the team playing.

He posted the picture on Twitter soon after, and it got lots of attention.

The Vols and Bulldogs are scheduled to meet up on October 5th of this coming season. The game will be in Knoxville.
