UGA: Vols and Dawgs to switch 2020 football game date

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT)-- The University of Georgia has confirmed a schedule shift for the 2020 season, one that will impact Jeremy Pruitt's Vols.

University of Georgia president Jere Morehead has confirmed that starting in 2020, UGA's rivalry game with Auburn will be played earlier in the season, swapping places with the late-September/ early October battle with Tennessee.

That means the Vols will be visiting Athens during the month of November in 2020. The University of Tennessee has yet to confirm this move and which team will replace the Bulldogs in that earlier season slot.
