KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Vols beat Florida A&M at home on Wednesday night, 72-43. Tennessee took an early lead and held it throughout the game.

John Fulkerson scored 15 points to lead five Tennessee players in double figures as the 21st-ranked Volunteers trounced winless Florida A&M for their 31st consecutive home victory.

Tennessee owns the longest active home winning streak of any Division I team. The Volunteers haven’t lost at home since falling to Auburn on Jan. 2, 2018. Tennessee coach Rick Barnes moved within one win of 700.

The Vols basketball team dropped from No. 17 in last week's AP Poll to No. 21 in this week's rankings.

The Vols lost to Florida State on Friday night, but rebounded with a win on Saturday over VCU. Both games were part of the Emerald Coast Classic, in Niceville, Florida.
