The Volunteers are coming off a convincing 96-53 win over Tennessee Tech last Saturday. A win which saw the Volunteers continue their exhibit teamwork. Rick Barnes is getting contributions for different players game in and game out. For instance, John Fulkerson scored a career high 15 points, including four dunks, in the win over the Golden Eagles.

Tennessee also continues to receive strong play from point guard Jordan Bone, who's become the first player to record a pair of assist and point double-doubles in the first season since 1982. The Vols also continue to receive solid play from team leaders Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield. That consistency will serve them well heading into the grind of Conference play.

As for his team's accomplishments so far Coach Barnes says, “What we have done up to this point, you can throw it out because we are getting into conference play and we know what kind of grind it is.”

Again, that grind begins this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. as the Vols welcome in Georgia to Thompson-Boling Arena. Click on the attached link for a complete look at this weeks poll.
