Four Vol football players join NFL teams

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- No Tennessee players were selected in this year's NFL Draft, but several could be signed as undrafted free agents.

--Kyle Phillips is signing with the Jets, according to his post on Twitter, in which he simply says, "New Chapter."

--According to Kristian Garic, a radio personality in New Orleans, defensive lineman Shy Tuttle is signing with the New Orleans Saints.

--Defensive back Micah Abernathy tweeted, saying he's heading to Minnesota, signing with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent.

—Linebacker Quart’e Sapp tweeted, saying he’s staying in Tennessee to join the Titans.

Twelve Tennessee players participated in pro day back in February.
