KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- "I can't help but think [Pat Summitt] is looking down on us right now."

Michelle Marciniak played for Pat Summitt at Tennessee in the 1990s, and was on the 1996 championship team.

Now she rides a bike nearly 1,100 miles each year to raise money for Alzheimer's research.

Pedal For Alzheimer's organization donated $70 thousand to the UT Medical Center for Alzheimer's research on Sunday.

In the video above, she explains her purpose behind the bike ride.
