KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Tennessee junior basketball player, Grant Williams is the back-to-back SEC Player of the Year.
With the Vols' season ending this past weekend, though, fans are wondering what the future holds for Williams.
It would not be surprising if he entered the NBA Draft -- but that wouldn't necessarily mean he is leaving Tennessee.
Players can withdraw from the NBA Draft, even after the draft happens.
That's part of a new rule, implemented by the NCAA just months ago.
Prior to this year, players had to withdraw from the NBA Draft by a certain date (nearly a month before the draft, generally).
This year, underclassmen who enter the draft, but are not drafted, can decide to go back to college, as long as they do so by the Monday following the draft.
Williams is projected by many experts as a late first round pick for this year's NBA draft.
