KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knoxville's Metro Pulse is shutting down, according to its Twitter account.
The weekly arts and culture newspaper announced on Twitter that all employees were being laid off.
The Metro Pulse is owned by E.W. Scripps.
Phone calls to the Metro Pulse were not immediately returned.
The newspaper started back on August 19, 1991.
