WHITES CREEK, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Have you ever seen those nice looking buses with tinted windows driving down the interstate? Chances are it was made in Tennessee.

What do the biggest celebrities in the world, the President of the United States, and Whites Creek, Tennessee all have in common with one another? The answer is the Hemphill Brothers Coach Company. The company builds out the luxury buses that the most famous people in the world tour on.

"We've been in business for 35 years. It's been a great ride, we started from nothing with two old 1965 model buses that had millions of miles on them, and we built our company from that," Co-owner Joey Hemphill said.

Every bus is custom designed by the superstar who will spend most of their life living on it. From Tim McGraw to Brittany Spears, governors to the President, when the wheels of a Hemphill bus start rolling down the interstate, you better believe there's a well-known person inside.

"Our clients are the biggest in the world, the biggest names in the world, and the most famous people in the world," Trent Hemphill explained. "So the brand, the name, is very high end at this point."

With that custom design comes custom quality. Expenses are rarely spared, which means the interiors of each bus is decked out in marble, granite, leather chairs, TV's, and the latest in technology. For the stars who ride a Hemphill bus, this is their home away from home.

"This is their safe haven when they're out on the road," Joey Hemphill said.

And the people building the buses are the best of the best.

"This is a very specific trade. These people that work for us are the tops in their field. We have craftsman that build these buses," Joey Hemphill explained.

So the next time you see a coach bus cruising down the road, look closely behind the front tires for the Hemphill Brothers logo and know that it was made in Tennessee.
