The Tennessee Department of Education is teaming up with the Governor’s Early Literacy Foundation to offer free at-home reading resources to families with children in grades K-2.
As the law stands, if a third-grader doesn’t get a high enough score on the reading section of the end-of-the-year standardized test, they could be held back.
