When you wake up on Monday, expect plenty of wet snow showers. Snowfall amounts will vary, but 0.5 to 2.0 inches of additional snow will be possible in the heart of the Valley and Knox County, while the Smokies could receive another 2 to 4 inches or more of snow, depending on elevation. The Plateau may receive lesser amounts, ranging from as little as a trace to as much as an inch. Morning lows should drop to 32 degrees. The sun rises at 7:35 AM. By 10 AM, the temperature should climb to 35 degrees with wet snow changing to rain. By Noon, the temperature should be around 38 degrees.
