Clouds continue to stick around through the evening and into the first half of the overnight before we see some clearing into Monday morning. Temperatures will remain on the cooler side for Monday and you’ll need the jacket as you step out the door, but warmer weather is on the way as we slowly warm up throughout the week.
Clouds are continuing to stick around and making for a cool weekend and we can expect more of the same as we head into Sunday. Some sunshine will mix in from time to time on Sunday and that will help to warm us a little more for the afternoon. Warmer weather is on the way for next week as we turn more seasonable.
Clouds are gradually working their way west this evening and into the overnight as Ian moves closer to the region. Rain still looks likely across the mountains and foothills, but will taper off quickly to the west. Cooler weather is around for much of the weekend, but a few breaks of sunshine are possible across the Plateau and Valley.
Cooler air has arrived and made for a beautiful Fall afternoon filled with sunshine and lower humidity. Our nice weather is here to stay as we’ll continue to see plenty of sunshine through the middle of the week with below average temperatures. A close eye will be kept on the tropics towards late week as rain from Ian could move into the area.
Scattered showers and storms continue to move through this evening in association with the cold front. Once the front passes cooler and drier air will quickly rush in for Monday morning. Fall weather is here to stay as much of the week looks to be perfect, although we’ll keep an eye on the forecast into Friday and Saturday as we watch the tropics.
Spotty showers and a few downpours continue to move through the region this morning. Most of the rain is remaining on the lighter side and should come to an end as we head towards mid-day. Don’t put the rain gear away just yet as we’ll see two more rounds of rain coming during the day Sunday.
A perfect start to the first full day of Fall as cooler air has moved in with lower humidity. Clouds do increase through the evening and into the overnight as a weak disturbance passes by. A few spotty showers are possible to start the weekend with sunshine and clouds mixing for the afternoon. Better rain chances look to arrive for the second half of the weekend.
Plenty of sunshine around for the weekend and that will continue into the new week as well as it’ll feel more like summer at times. The first day of Fall arrives for Thursday and a front looks to bring changes just in time for the end of he week.
Sunshine has been abundant to start the weekend and that looks to continue as we head into our Sunday and much of next week with high pressure in control. Temperatures will fall through the evening and that will leave us starting out in the lower 60s for Sunday morning before sunshine returns and quickly warms us for the afternoon.

The cold front will continue to move through into Monday morning and until it does so we’ll see a few spotty showers with patchy dense fog to start the day.

Rain chances will increase heading into Sunday afternoon with the next batch of showers and storms. A real taste of fall weather is in sight as we head into the upcoming work week.
Clouds and humidity will continue as we head into the overnight, which will give way to showers and widespread rain for Saturday morning. For the weekend events like the Great Smoky Mountain Air Show and the Tennessee Valley Fair you could be dodging some rain drops from time to time, but there does look to be some breaks in the rain for the outdoor events.
