Knoxville fire crews respond to Old City restaurant

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knoxville fire crews responded to Kaizen in Old City Friday night for a commercial fire.

“KFD is on scene of a working commercial fire 127 South Central,” KFD officials said.

Kaizen is a restaurant listed at 127 South Central in the Old City. KFD crews later clarified the fire was in the roof of the building next door.

“The building has suffered, moderate fire, smoke, and water damage,” KFD said. “The business located next to the fire - Kaizen has suffered moderate smoke damage.”

No injuries were reported.
