KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knox County’s Second Saturday concert series is set to return beginning this weekend to The Cove at Concord Park.
The free concerts are held from 6 to 8 p.m. on the second Saturday of June, July and August.
Kicking off the series is The Rocky Bottom Band on June 14. Bryson Quick will be in Knoxville on July 12, followed by Wild Blue Yonder on Aug. 9.
“We are happy to once again host one of the biggest events of the summer,” Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs said. “Folks from here and across the region love these events, and it’s a good chance to listen to music, have a picnic, and check out our parks, which are some of the nicest places in the area.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and food to enjoy the concert, but no alcohol is allowed.
The Cove is located at 11808 S. Northshore Drive.
